Outlook Ridge Grand Opening Event Catapults Cambria Homes into the Spotlight with Potential Buyers
Client: Cambria Homes

When Sean Johnsrud of Cambria Homes said, “It was the most successful event in the company’s history,” it was music to our ears.

Sean approached us in October 2004 with big plans for a grand opening event for his Outlook Ridge housing development.  With time short and result expectations high, we suggested a comprehensive, array of promotional materials and on-site prizes. We were inspired by Cambria Homes choice of a celebrity host to lend excitement for the big day.

Illustration, direct mail, Web site, radio and newspaper advertising joined together to set the stage for the Wheel of Prizes event at Outlook Ridge, featuring STAR 101.5 FM radio personality Kent Phillips as host and on-air promoter.  The promotional elements leveraged Phillips’ personality and delivered the event message in a quirky, off-beat manner atypical in the building industry.

Together, the campaign elements created awareness and encouraged prospects to visit the new Cambria Homes Web site designed by Graphic Technologies to register to win a grand prize. This information was captured in a real-time database, allowing the client to monitor the media most responsible for the greatest number of entries.

Growing relationship, Growing Company
Client: Printa Systems, Inc.

We partnered with Printa Systems in 2001.  Our mission was to review the company’s marketing efforts and recommend upgrades to advance their plans to gain market share and earn a position as the promotional product industry leader.

We accomplished this by identifying and understanding their customers, researching their competition, and analyzing the industry.  In an industry in which brand consistency is not the standard, we recognized the opportunity to get Printa noticed.  We then built a memorable brand for feature in print ads, the company Web site, training tools, trade shows, marketing programs, packaging and more.

Today, the company has grown to over $4.8M in operating revenue and earned recognition in the Puget Sound Business Journal as one of the top 100 fastest growing private companies in Washington State. With over 100 design projects under our belt with Printa Systems, we’re as excited about their future as they are.

The Legend of Westcott Homes:
Client: Westcott Homes

Westcott Homes contacted us in 2002 through the Master Builders Association network.  They were seeking a design firm to develop a community brand for their newest development – Kingsridge in Mill Creek, WA.  We were chosen based on our extensive real estate industry experience and our ability to manage a full scope of marketing projects under one roof.

Originally named Legend Homes, the company decided to change its name and image. The unique challenge was to create a new brand that encompassed all the things that made Legend Homes a success and more closely matched the quality homes they build.  The new brand was born.  Awareness campaigns were launched with the brand roll-out to ensure prospective customers weren’t lost in the transition and name change.

After branding Westcott Homes and creating eight new community sub-brands, we have empowered the community sites and corporate office with tools such as logos, referral programs, site signage, advertising, Web site, direct mail and complete sales office design.

With such a short window of opportunity to command attention from potential home buyers, it is imperative to make a strong first impression and drive traffic to the communities.  Graphic Technologies delivers and the results speak for themselves.
